This peer-led event will be a chance to:
· Share ideas about peer support and why it is important within our communities
· Hear from peers who are doing it
· Talk about ways we can make sure peer support is available for everyone
· Come up with some ways to facilitate peer support in multicultural communities
When: Monday 4 December 9.30am (for a 10.00am start) - 12.30pm

The Intellectual Disability Rights Service (IDRS) will talk to us from their experience as a specialist legal advocacy service for with intellectual disability in New South Wales.
Hear from others about their experiences in:
· Standing up for their rights
· Good experiences in getting support to have their rights met
· How can we help each other to get a fair go
You can also share your experiences with your fellow peers!
